I just wonder if there is a list of devices (not only S60 phones) that supports DM? Would be interesting to know how many they are.

This is an interesting area indeed. Most new non-basic phones and a great deal of basic phones support some form of device management (DM). But as to which phone supports a given level of the OMA DM standard, I am not aware of such a list. In any case there are degrees of 'support'. Furthermore, although vendors participate in OMA test fests, some vendors want to make results public and others don’t. So the results are not made public.

Nokia have made clear statements about the support of DM on their devices but most other vendors have not.

Many DM solution vendors claim that their ability to support a large and increasing number of phones is their competitive advantage. The largest number I have heard is from Synapse who say that they support 18,000 phones. But you should also check out other DM vendors. For example, Device Management Forum members Sicap (a subsidiary of Swisscom), Synchronica and Mobilethink for whom you can find links on this page, all have extensive databases of devices and their DM capabilities.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that Nokia is also a DM vendor and through their Intllisync Mobile Device Management solution support a broad range of other vendors’ phones. So they too will have a database of phones and their DM capabilities.
