DUBLIN, Calif. – July 17, 2007 – Sybase iAnywhere today announced important enhancements to its Information Anywhere® suite
that are focused on collaboration and security for mobile enterprise
users. The Information Anywhere suite is a platform that addresses
converging enterprise requirements for mobile email, messaging,
security, device management and enterprise applications. The company
has expanded the suite’s mobile collaboration capabilities with the
general availability of Information Anywhere Mobile IM, which provides
secure instant messaging and presence capabilities to mobile workers.
In addition, the company has added significant new enhancements to the
suite’s security solution for laptops, including the addition of

“With mobility comes
responsibility. Businesses must take measures to protect corporate
information wherever it resides, particularly with widespread usage of
unmonitored consumer instant messaging services at work," said Joe
Owen, vice president, engineering, Sybase iAnywhere. "Information
Anywhere helps IT take a strategic approach to mobilizing, managing and
securing the entire spectrum of enterprise solutions, from
collaboration to other lines of business applications, across all
mobile devices and media.”
