mPortico to Deliver I-Play Content Over its Mobile Media Network Print E-mail
New York, NY  November 15th, 2007 -- mPortico today announced an exclusive distribution

agreement with the mobile entertainment company I-play that will deliver I-play’s award-winning mobile games and video content, including “Hollywood Movie Minutes,” and Daniel Negreanu “Win at Texas Hold Em” made for mobile video, via mPortico’s EZ-XS platform. Loaded onto Kingston® Technology’s industry-leading Flash memory cards, in miniSD and microSD formats, the mobile-rich content will be sold at major retail outlets to provide consumers with inexpensive and convenient access.

While video clips, games and advertising have been available in limited capacities on mobile phones, accessing the content has typically been cumbersome, due to slow response times, high costs, and the need for excessive clicking on the part of the consumer. The availability of pre-programmed content cards in retail stores will change this reality, enabling users to load their cellular phones with their content of choice and then to simply activate programs via their cellular handset. Once part of mPortico’s Mobile Media Network, customers will be able to purchase new content for their cell phones through mPortico’s mobile content store.

“mPortico is proud to launch our EZ-XS platform in cooperation with such formidable players as I-play and Kingston” said Shimon Constante, CEO of mPortico. “The future of mobile-rich content belongs to media pioneers like these, who truly understand the market’s unquenchable appetite for easy access to entertainment and information.”

The product is slated for launch in early 2008, starting in the United States.

mPortico has developed a universal platform for improving the delivery of rich content – such as video, gaming, advertising and ringtones – over memory cards for use with mobile phones. The aim of this technology is to enable simple retail distribution and sale of these materials to consumers.
