London. Thursday 10th January. Following the recent
appointment of Tom Alexander as
Chief
Executive of Orange UK, Orange
today bolstered its senior team, announcing three additional Executive
Management Team positions - Chief Operations Officer, Chief Development
Officer, and Chief of Staff & Communications.
Andrew Ralston
has been appointed Chief Operations Officer and will chair a
newly-formed Operations Board. This board will be responsible for
ensuring Orange UK’s competitiveness and the successful day-to-day
running of the business.
Gerry McQuade
has been appointed Chief Development Officer, and will chair a
newly-formed Development Board. This board will be responsible for
ensuring Orange UK has clearly defined, integrated and communicated
priorities. It will also ensure Orange UK maintains its position as the
most innovative, customer-focused and cost effective business in the
mobile and converged market place.
Steven Day
has been appointed Chief of Staff & Communications, responsible for
communications and culture across all of Orange’s UK operations.
Andrew, Gerry and Steven joined Orange this week having previously
worked with Tom Alexander. They join – and will work alongside - the
existing members of the Orange UK Executive Management Team.
Tom Alexander, CEO of Orange UK,
