PLANO, TX January 22, 2008 - ESPRE Solutions, Inc., a
Dallas-based media solutions and
technology company with a revolutionary
and patented video compression technology, today announces that it has
signed a design and build contract with Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Anyware
Mobile Solutions, experts in enabling mobility in businesses. The
contract, valued at more than $2M, is for a video collaboration application
for deployment by a major global telecommunications carrier. Terms of the
agreement include a collaboration application that allows mobile devices,
set top boxes and PCs to visually communicate across the carrier's network,
and will be the first of its kind for a unique market segment. The
carrier, to be named later, plans to deploy this application in the 2nd
quarter of 2008 resulting in major reoccurring revenue opportunity for both
companies.
Per the agreement, ESPRE and Anyware will join forces to meet the growing
demand for video-centric mobile business solutions. The advent of video
technologies combined with leading-edge mobility solutions has captivated
the imagination of numerous companies who see the opportunity to reduce
costs, increase productivity, improve customer relations, and drive new
revenues. ESPRE and Anyware have the unique skill sets and technologies to
capture significant market share in this new and evolving market category.
Propelled by strong demand for mobile video applications by customers,
ESPRE and Anyware are researching ways to deliver applications for its
customers to move their online video services to the mobile platform.
According to iGillott Research, more than 47 million workers in the US rely
on mobile communications platforms to perform their work in and out of the
office. Through this partnership, Anyware and ESPRE will deploy unique
video-enabled solutions to help these workers do their jobs more
efficiently on and off the road. Anyware has also identified an expansive
list of mobile video application opportunities through focused marketing
initiatives with wireless carriers, vertical marketing, and mobile device
partners.
