VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA January 30, 2008 - Voice
Mobility International, Inc., a
Vancouver-
based developer and provider of carrier and enterprise
enhanced messaging solutions, today announced its official release of
two new market offerings: Managed and Hosted Messaging services.
With Managed Messaging, equipment is located at the customer's
datacenter (or another customer location) with flexible management and
support options provided by Voice Mobility and its certified partners.
Customers have the option of owning or leasing the UCN 250 equipment
and paying monthly for the level of management and services they desire.
Hosted Messaging is a full messaging system located at Voice
Mobility's or its partner's datacenter. The equipment is secured in a
certified datacenter with redundancy and disaster recovery options
available. Hosted Messaging allows customers to purchase, on a monthly
basis, voicemail replacement and unified communication solutions as
needed. Customers have the flexibility of determining the level of
management and services they want to maintain in-house and those they
prefer managed by Voice Mobility's trained professionals.
Analyst predictions show a growing need for managed and hosted
messaging solutions. Driven by lower cost of ownership and reduction of
risk, enterprises are looking to implement these solutions when
provided by certified professionals.
Voice Mobility's Managed or Hosted Messaging solutions provide the following benefits:
- Low total cost of ownership
- High availability and disaster recovery options
- 24/7 support and management
- Otherwise costly hardware and software upgrades are included in the solution
- The centralized datacenter and customer center can be fully redundant
- Flexible management and support options
- Full turn-key solutions
"We are now receiving tremendous interest from large Enterprise
clients interested in Managed and Hosted offers. With our extensive
Enterprise and Service Provider feature set, Enterprises can migrate in
a very flexible manner to a system that behaves like their Legacy Octel
systems. Our Linux environment offers a highly secure and stable
messaging platform," said Mike Seeley, Global Sales Director, Voice
Mobility.
