Phonevite™ Debuts Phonevite To Go, A One-to-Many Instant Calling Service From Your Mobile Phone Print E-mail
SANTA MONICA, Calif.  July 17, 2008 -- Phonevite, one of only 11 startup companies invited to

exhibit at todays exclusive, one-day-only Twiistup 4 technology showcase event in Santa Monica, took advantage of the event to unveil Phonevite To Go, an extension of its one-to-many phone call service. Phonevite To Go allows users to send a Phonevite while on the go, using only the persons cell phone, instantly and to up to 25 people at no cost whatsoever.

Phonevite has been an unqualified hit with users and critics alike since its debut in late 2007. Praised by CNET TV, the Discovery Educator Network, TechCrunch and others, Phonevite lets anyone record and send a voice message, then ring all intended recipients phones simultaneously and play the message upon pickup (or leave it on voicemail or an answering machine for those who dont answer). Security and abuse-prevention features ensure that Phonevite is a convenient and desirable service for users and recipients alike.

Phonevite To Go makes the Phonevite concept even more valuable by providing access from any mobile phone, anywhere in the United States and Canada. Phonevite To Go users are given a To Go number that they assign to a specific phone number distribution list. The To Go number gets saved to the phones contact list; whenever the person wishes to issue a message to that group, he or she simply dials the To Go number, records the message, confirms itand the message is immediately delivered to everyone on the list.

Phonevite To Go, like Phonevite itself, is the ideal solution for issuing party invitations, notifying a softball team of site or time changes, announcing the birth of a new babythe possibilities are endless, said John Nahm, co-founder and CEO of Phonevite, Inc. Phonevite is all about saving time and making life easier for individuals and groupsand now, with Phonevite To Go, weve matched the appeal of one-to-many calling with the mobility and immediate access of wireless calling.

Presented as a free service, Phonevite currently allows users to send pre-recorded messages to up to 25 people. A premium plan, designed for churches, schools and other larger community organizations, supports call lists of up to 2,000 numbers for a price of US $0.05 per successful call. In addition, non-profit organizations and schools who register with Phonevite can receive a 20% discount on the price of the calls.

Using Phonevite To Go on a mobile phone, larger organizations can be prepared to send time-sensitive messages from anywhere, said Nahm. We think this will prove to be invaluable for emergency situations, when an Internet-ready computer may not be accessible.

Exclusive Venue

As one of Twiistup 4s 11 Showoff invitees, Phonevite is able to introduce itself to attendees of one of Southern Californias elite technology extravaganzas. Twiistup, according to its sponsors, was created to fill a need for a fun, tech-focused event that would showcase up-and-coming companies, while providing a casual environment for discovery and networking. Each of the first three Twiistups, as well as Twiistup 4, has been a complete sell out, with a waiting list of tech mavens wanting in.

Twiistup 4 is being held today only at the Viceroy Hotel on Santa Monicas Ocean Avenue. To subscribe to onsite blogs of Twiistup 4, go to www.twiistup.com/feed. For more about Phonevite and Phonevite To Go, or to sign up to use the service as a free or premium user, visit www.phonevite.com.
