KRAKÓW, Poland July 29, 2008 -- Synkia Sp. z o.o. is a provider of a new
service called
Kontaktoutrwalacz
(ContactSaver) offered by Polish mobile
operator, Plus from July 10, 2008. The service enables users to wirelessly
copy contacts saved on a mobile phone to an individual account, store the
contacts on a safe server and restore them to the same or another mobile
phone; regardless of phone manufacturer. The service is available for Plus,
MixPlus, Simplus, 36.6 and Sami Swoi networks
customers.
"I'm very glad to announce our partnership with Plus" -- says Morten
Sundstø, the chairman and founder of Synkia -- "This shows the potential of
our company to deliver the best quality services to the biggest mobile
market players."
The service is offered in two scenarios:
30 day copy -- saves contacts for 30 days. During this time the user can
wirelessly copy data from a mobile phone to the account without limits.
This scenario gives confidence that contacts are always safe -- especially
in case a mobile phone is lost or stolen. The user is prompted every month
whether they wish to continue using the service.
Quick copy -- saves contacts until midnight the next day from sign up of
the service. This option is useful in case of changing a mobile phone
model. It enables the user to easily move contacts from one mobile phone to
another; regardless of manufacturer.
