Obopay Announces Appointment of Michael Diamond as Senior Vice President, Business Development Print E-mail
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.  July 30, 2008 -- Obopay, Inc., the pioneering service provider for payments

via mobile phones, today announced that Michael Diamond has joined the company as Vice President, Business Development.

Diamond will be responsible for all Obopay business development related to the financial services market and will lead Obopay's growth initiatives with financial services partners.

Prior to Obopay, he led business development teams in high-growth information software categories at IBM. Diamond joined IBM as a result of their acquisition of Alphablox, where he was VP Business & Corporate Development. Prior to Alphablox, Diamond was Senior Vice President, Global Alliances for S1 Corporation, where his team drove e-Finance revenue growth among key equity partners such as Accenture and Hewlett-Packard. He also led early market development in Japan and Latin America for S1. Before joining S1, Mike held a variety of leadership roles at Edify Corporation, a pioneer in the internet banking and self-service market. Diamond also served in the United States Army Reserve during Operation Desert Storm and Operation Provide Comfort, and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain.
