BERWYN, Pa. Aug. 6, 2008 -- TruePosition, Inc., a leading provider of wireless locataion solutions
and a subsidiary of Liberty Media Corporation,
today announced that Alan Larrabee has joined TruePosition as Vice
President of Research and Development. In this role, Larrabee will lead
the design, development, and delivery of all TruePosition technology
solutions to meet the needs of global safety and security markets.
Larrabee brings more than 15 years of engineering and product
development experience to TruePosition. Prior to joining TruePosition,
Larrabee was Senior Director of Engineering for Openwave Systems, where
he managed global product development for wired and wireless messaging
products. Over the course of his career, Larrabee has had extensive
experience leading and managing large engineering groups and has been
responsible for the development of software systems, e-commerce
products, web sites, and electromechanical products. He previously held
senior product and business development positions with Precision
Engineering and Conveyors and McCord Winn Division of Textron, Inc.

Alan Larrabee holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Math from
Boston University and a Business Certification from Harvard Executive
Management School. He is a Wave Certified Network Engineer and is
certified in ISO 9001 and QS9000 Implementation.
