MARKHAM, Ont. Aug. 11, 2008 -- UNiTE Communications
announced today that it has assumed the
service provisioning of
TigerTel Communications networked voice messaging division by
purchasing TigerTel's 'Tracker' and 'Find Me/Follow Me' solutions, as
well as the corresponding client accounts.

already has an advanced messaging platform in place, this strategic
acquisition brings a broader range of advanced telecom solutions to

In general, the value of each acquired client will increase as a
result of the transaction as customers adopt products from the full
suite of unique, leading edge UNiTE communications and messaging
solutions including: UNiTE Me, UNiTE Virtual Office, UNiTE Office, and
UNiTE Group.

Details of the transaction, including purchase price and client
volume, are proprietary and will not be disclosed. The transaction
closed on July 31, 2008.
