AuthenTec to Showcase New Fingerprint-Enabled Wireless Products and Technologies Print E-mail
SAN FRANCISCO & MELBOURNE, Fla.  Aug. 28, 2008 -- CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2008 --

AuthenTec, a world leading provider of fingerprint sensors and solutions, announced that it will feature its newest wireless products and technology at CTIA IT & Entertainment 2008 in San Francisco September 10-12. AuthenTecs exhibit, located at Moscone West in booth #225, will also feature new world phones, smart phones and other wireless products that integrate AuthenTec fingerprint sensors for versatile Power of Touch® features that extend beyond security to include convenience, personalization and navigation.

AuthenTec will be demonstrating the Companys durable new TouchStone packaging technology as well as several new mobile devices that have integrated AuthenTecs new AES17XX family of low power fingerprint sensors for the wireless market. On display will be AuthenTec-enabled smart phones and mobile devices from Casio-Hitachi Mobile, Fujitsu, HTC, JRC, LG, MEDION and Samsung. Products include the first NTT DOCOMO phone to incorporate AuthenTecs TrueNav® user navigation features.

More than 9 million mobile phones have included an AuthenTec sensor to provide one-touch access to content and services, secure mobile commerce, touchpad-like navigation, and personal data privacy and convenient security.
