BANGKOK, Thailand Sept. 3, 2008 -- SPIRIT DSP, a leading provider of voice and video software
engines, announced today that E-TEN Information Systems Co., Ltd., a renowned designer and manufacturer of smart handheld devices, has
chosen SPIRIT’s voice solution to ensure
superior voice quality on its mobile devices.
SPIRIT’s cutting-edge voice enhancement
solution with full-duplex echo-free voice will be incorporated into
various models of 3G/3.5G devices and PDA-phones, based on Windows
Mobile 6.0.
Turned to handheld devices in 1997, E-TEN has gained great experience in
building cutting-edge smart handheld devices and released a number of
hugely successful smartphones that featured combinations of GPRS, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5G GSM functionality.
With its new brand name Glofiish for smart handheld devices and
accessories, launched in 2006, E-TEN burst into the consumer sector and
was awarded the Best Choice of Computex Award 2008 for its innovative
