Aptilo announces 2 partnerships at WiMAX World 2008 Print E-mail

with Redline Communications Group, to leverage Aptilo's service management and access control in Redline's Mobile WiMAX deployments. The second is with IntralSP to offer a complete back-end solutions to WiMAX operators.

 

Aptilo and Redline Collaborate on Mobile WiMAX Solutions

CHICAGO, Ill,  Sept. 30, 2008 -- WIMAX WORLD 2008 -- Aptilo Networks, a global leader in pre-integrated solutions for Service Management and Access Control for wireless networks including WiMAX™, wireless mesh and Wi-Fi hotspots, and Redline Communications Group Inc. ("Redline"), a leading provider of WiMAX and broadband wireless infrastructure products, announced today that the two companies have entered into a global technology agreement to utilize Aptilo's service management and access control solutions in Redline's RedMAX 4C™ Mobile WiMAX deployments worldwide.

The joint solution will incorporate Aptilo's WiMAX CSN System™, a pre-integrated wireless broadband data and voice services solution for standards compliant mobile WiMAX authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA); policy management and service control with Redline's RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX products based on the 802.16e-2005 standards for Mobile WiMAX. Aptilo and Redline are jointly pursuing deployment opportunities in the Philippines, Latin America, Saudi Arabia and South Africa.

The RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX family, which includes the WiMAX Forum Certified® RedMAX 4C RPM subscriber unit, supports a wide range of fixed, portable and mobile wireless services including voice and video services. The RedMAX 4C Mobile WiMAX platform includes the highest capacity base station on the market supporting up to 512 users per sector controller and is designed to enable operators to maximize the reach and customer density required for a profitable carrier business model.
