Change in the Nokia Siemens Networks Board of Directors |

Espoo, Finland Oct. 7, 2008 -- Eduardo Montes, 57, executive
advisor to the CEO of Siemens AG will
resign from the Board of
Directors of Nokia Siemens Networks B.V. effective as of October 2008.
He will be succeeded by Siegfried Russwurm, 45, Member of the Siemens
Managing Board and Head of Corporate Human Resources. Within the
Siemens Managing Board, Russwurm has regional responsibility for
Europe, CIS and Africa which are key regions for Nokia Siemens
Networks.
After the
change, the Board of Nokia Siemens Networks will consist of the
following seven members: Nokia President and CEO, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo
(Chairman of the Nokia Siemens Networks Board); Siemens CFO, Joe
Kaeser; Nokia CFO, Rick Simonson; Member of the Siemens Managing Board
and Head of Corporate HR, Siegfried Russwurm; Head of Nokia Operational
Human Resources, Juha Äkräs; Executive Advisor to the CEO of Siemens
AG, Rudi Lamprecht (Vice Chairman of the Nokia Siemens Networks Board)
and Executive Vice President, Services and Software, Nokia, Niklas
Savander.
