Exalt Powers Sparkplug's six-state Broadband Wireless Network Print E-mail
Campbell, Callif.  Oct. 20, 2008 -- Exalt Communications, a leading innovator of next generation

wireless backhaul systems, today announced that Sparkplug, a leading wireless broadband service provider, has selected Exalt to supply microwave radio systems to support the high speed backhaul requirements of Sparkplug's carrier-grade broadband wireless access network.

Sparkplug offers business-class broadband services across six states, including Illinois, Arizona, Iowa, Tennessee, Nevada, and New Mexico. The company has deployed an advanced fixed wireless access network that leverages, among other technologies, carrier-class microwave backhaul systems from Exalt. By utilizing Exalt's microwave solution, Sparkplug is able to deliver fast, reliable and secure business broadband, high-speed business Internet and transport services that are affordable and easy to install. Sparkplug's services offer dedicated and symmetrical bandwidth up to 1 Gbps at a fraction of the cost of wireline solutions for enterprise, carrier, government, and education customers.
