services, today announced the appointments of Keith Buckley as senior
vice president, supply chain management and Kirk Golbach as senior
vice president, field operations and field sales. Each of these
executives brings extensive experience with a strong focus on
strategic, cost-efficient growth.
Keith Buckley recently joined Leap as senior vice president,
supply chain management. A proven corporate leader, Buckley is
responsible for the coordination and management of Leaps' end-to-end
supply chain operations, such as network and mobile devices. In
addition, he is responsible for the further development of a corporate
approach to procurement management and vendor development programs
which are expected to help enhance Leap's position as a low-cost
leader in wireless telecommunications.
Buckley has extensive corporate and military experience, with a
focus on achieving business objectives within rapid growth
environments. Most recently he served as the general manager of
consumer products for Telecom New Zealand Group, where he oversaw the
life cycle of all consumer products, procurement and supply chain
management. Buckley began his career with the Royal New Zealand Air
Force, serving as an operational helicopter pilot, military adviser to
the Czech Republic Government and head of strike/joint operations
planning. Buckley earned an M.B.A. from University of Otago in
Dunedin, New Zealand.
Kirk Golbach joined Leap as a regional vice president, Midwest
region earlier this year, and recently transitioned to the role of
senior vice president, field operations and field sales. In this
position, Golbach is responsible for overseeing sales and operational
activities in Cricket markets in the Western region.
An executive with more than 25 years of sales, operations and
financial management experience in the wireless and financial services
industries, Golbach has held a variety of senior level management
positions. Most recently he served as senior vice president at Wells
Fargo & Company, where he was responsible for managing the company's
strategic relationships with third party service vendors.
Additionally, he has held positions as regional president of Verizon
Wireless' Kansas and Missouri region, served as director of finance
and administration for CellularOne, and was a CPA with Price
Waterhouse. Golbach graduated from Oklahoma State University with a
bachelor's degree in accounting.
