Cerience Releases RepliGo Reader for BlackBerry Smartphones Print E-mail
FORT COLLINS, Colo.  Oct. 29, 2008 -- Cerience Corporation today released RepliGo™ Reader, the

first native PDF reader for BlackBerry® smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM). RepliGo Reader offers desktop-like viewing of PDF documents and email attachments downloaded to the handset. Once downloaded, documents can be loaded and displayed directly from the device's memory or media card without requiring a wireless data connection, enabling permanent offline access to any content contained within a PDF file.

RepliGo Reader is the latest addition to the award-winning RepliGo product line, which includes RepliGo Server for enterprises and RepliGo Professional for consumers. Cerience has leveraged several of its key technologies into the product in order to increase usability, including on-device document recognition, which can reformat pages into a single column for fast and easy reading on small screens. The application also includes powerful navigation features such as bookmarks, text search and numerous zoom levels, making it very simple and efficient to use.

"PDF files are one of the primary vehicles for communicating rich content within an organization, especially for basic workflows like document collaboration," said Dave Formanek, Vice President of Product Development at Cerience. "The combination of RepliGo Reader and a BlackBerry smartphone not only makes this possible, but does so in a compelling fashion, allowing mobile professionals and enterprises alike to stay on top of their businesses."

Pricing and Availability

RepliGo Reader is immediately available for purchase on the Cerience website at http://www.cerience.com/products/reader/. The application is priced at $29.95 for single user licenses with discounts available for volume purchases.
