Dallas, Tx. Nov. 4, 2008 -- Quickoffice has developed a new iPhone application, named MobileFiles,
that enables access to MobileMe iDisk accounts directly from the iPhone or iTouch.
Currently, easy MobileMe access to contacts, calendar, gallery and mail is available but not to iDisk accounts. MobileFiles fills a much-needed void, providing simple access to iDisk, which is extremely important to mobile professionals who need to view and retrieve key files and documents remotely.
Key features of MobileFiles include:
- Access files stored remotely on your iDisk folder (separate MobileMe account required)
- View files on your iPhone or iPod Touch in landscape or portrait mode, with pan and zoom
- Download from multiple iDisk accounts or friends' shared public iDisk folders
- Store downloaded files on your iPhone or iPod Touch for faster offline viewing or listening
- Manage your files with our built-in Filemanager for convenient file organization
MobileFiles is free and currently available from the Apple App store, under the productivity category.
