Management company Capricode announced their co-operation regarding the mobile device management (MDM) solution SyncShield.

SyncShield is of particular interest to small and medium-sized companies that hold business sensitive information on the mobile phones of their employees. The mobile employees of these companies may already be using e-mail synchronisation of their mobile phones, however, the companies would like to add device management and some degree of security to this solution
in order to prevent data theft. With the mobile phone backed-up automatically via SyncShield, the mobile phone can be locked and the sensitive data on the mobile phone wiped remotely should the mobile phone be stolen or lost.

KESONI has for a number of years been an active player in the market for mobile device management (MDM) solutions and manages a competitive portfolio of MDM solutions targeted at all levels of businesses. The Capricode SyncShield MDM solution enhances the portfolio of solutions KESONI offers its small and medium-sized business customers.

The Capricode SyncShield solution will be offered as a hosted service with the SyncShield server located at KESONI’s premises. The advantage to business customers is that the tool can be operated via a web user interface without the need for hardware investments or server maintenance work. The
benefits to business customers are that SyncShield will improve the device security and lower the companies’ IT administration costs through centralized, over-the-air device management. In addition to being cost-efficient, the hosted service model is easy to implement; the SyncShield mobile application can be installed on the device remotely.
