Group, today announced the addition of two highly seasoned mobile content industry executives. The appointments include Markus Thorstvedt as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), FMG and Joe Bilman as Senior Vice President, Global Products, Fox Mobile Distribution, a unit of FMG.

Working with Fox Mobile Group, Thorstvedt and Bilman will create landmark technology platforms and innovative consumer services and bring them to market. Thorstvedt has already launched a platform advancement initiative within the company and Bilman is involved in the development of FMG’s new consumer brand, which will debut in the coming months and offer consumers an unparalleled premium mobile video experience.

As Senior Vice President, Global Products, Joe Bilman is responsible for advancing FMD’s consumer services globally and is currently overseeing the technology and development of the new premium mobile video service. Bilman’s extensive experience in software development and consumer-facing Web sites gives him unique insight that will help FMD fuel its growth and leadership position.

Both executives report directly to Mauro Montanaro, FMG’s chief executive officer.
