Sunnyvale, Calif. Sept. 8, 2009 -- InnoPath Software, a leader in over-the-air customer care for
mobile operators, is pleased to announce the expansion of its European presence with the opening of an office in Paris. The new office will serve to support the growing demand for more effective and efficient support of increasingly complex smartphones and data services. Smartphones are four times more expensive to support than legacy featurephones, costing operators billions of dollars annually. The costs and challenges of providing effective support for these devices, while maintaining an optimal user experience, will continue to rise as the market penetration of smartphones increases.
“France has always been a leader in mobility,” said John Fazio, president and CEO of InnoPath. “With the rise of the smartphone and the growing uptake of high ARPU data services, InnoPath’s ActiveCare meets a critical need for the mobile operators looking to reduce their costs and provide better support for these increasingly complex devices. We are excited to open this French office, which will allow us to better support customers in that country.”
InnoPath’s ActiveCare for the first time delivers customer support for mobile phones over the air, providing operators with a way to reduce operational expenses, increase customer satisfaction, deploy new services with confidence, and most importantly, increase the overall customer experience. ActiveCare reduces the length of frontline support calls by up to two-thirds, reducing support costs while delivering a better end-user experience.
