SAN MATEO, Calif., USA and Barcelona, Spain. February 15, 2010 -
DeviceAnywhere, a leader in end-to-end mobile application
testing, in response to the increased demand for mobile application
testing on Chinese devices,
today announced the addition of new Chinese mobile devices to the DeviceAnywhere MOTODEV Virtual Developer Lab (VDL).
The Virtual Developer Lab, first launched in February 2009, is a remote internet-based testing service that dramatically reduces the time and resources required to develop, test, and deploy applications and content for Motorola’s MOTODEV community of mobile application developers to ensure a seamless and more efficient route to bringing quality content to the mobile platform. The MOTODEV VDL eliminates the need to acquire the physical device, which is especially convenient for developers not located in China.
Initially, the Virtual Develop Lab will include devices such as the Backflip MB300/ME600 and MOTO XT800 Android-based devices. DeviceAnywhere will be featuring these new devices as part of its demo in the Motorola MOTODEV Fast Track Partner Showcase taking place in App Planet, at Mobile World Congress. “Mobile applications have had a significant impact in driving the growth of smartphone sales in China. Yet, for non-local operators and device manufacturers one of the most critical factors to their success will be their ability to help the developer community localize and test their applications," said Faraz Syed , CEO of DeviceAnywhere. "We look forward to the opportunity of expanding our portfolio of Chinese mobile devices.”
