Mossec was founded in June 2006 to offer the market a managed security solution to smartphones and mobile devices in the carrier space. The company is building this strategy with long-term partnerships with its clients and integrator partners.
Device Management Product Portfolio
Mossec is developing a differential solution specially adapted to our
customer needs providing a converged management-security solution for
mobile users. Our products are created under the standards of mobile
carriers as OMA DM, OMTP compatible HSDPA, and following the COMMON
CRITERIA quality standards about security software (under CC EAL-2
certification). Our feature offering includes:
- Central management: Allowing on-line remote provisioning and network
monitoring. The clients are able to access the server tools directly,
integrated in an OMA DM product or thru a Web portal. In case of
security breaches, additional security policies are able to launch
remotely from the central server, as device encryption, remote wipe or
remote block.
- Data protection: The solution allows automatic device encryption for
both internal and external memories, and strong password access control
- Threat protection: our offering provides a white list protection
software that using a digital signature engine, is able to prevent any
non-authorized code to execute. This “white list” service would
permanently protect the mobile device against any future virus without
the need of a software update.In addition, the “black list” service
would allow to configure the mobile hardware with software reducing
hardware costs (i.e. disabling mobile cameras)
The solution is offered in two ways: MSSF Personal Edition or
non-managed and MSSF Enterprise Edition or managed with an ASP portal,
management tools, Push Server and Administrator Console.
